Habitat for Humanity Toronto Connects with Blue Link Associates Limited to Upgrade Internal Accounting Software

Toronto, ON, (Tuesday, October 24, 2006) - Habitat for Humanity Toronto is pleased to announce that Blue Link Associates Limited is in the process of upgrading Habitat's internal accounting systems. Dedicated to providing powerful, yet flexible accounting software, Blue Link will donate the upgrade license fee to Habitat. This will enable Habitat to keep its software current, making the organization that much more efficient, allowing the organization to spend more time doing what it does best - building simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with families in need of adequate shelter.

Habitat for Humanity Toronto CEO Neil Hetherington said, "The software really helps productivity. It facilitates the processes regarding our accounting transactions, and that helps in preparing our financial statements."

Blue Link President, Mark Canes, has long admired the work that Habitat has done to support those in need of affordable housing in Toronto and around the world.

"The tangible benefits that accrue in the form of housing are a surefire way to see the positive contribution that Habitat provides," said Canes. "We are pleased to donate this software upgrade to Habitat because its vision fits with the Blue Link philosophy of providing a solid foundation for life to the fortunate recipients of these homes."

The software upgrade is expected to be completed by the end of 2006.
